Our Neighborhood
This is what happens when I decide to give an extra few hours into an early sketch. Although, not completely finished looking, I do like keeping a bit of that speedpainting look and feel to my paintings. Hope you guys like this one too.
Alone in the Neighborhood
During the days when I was in Iraq, there were times when we had to patrol on foot rather than being in our strykers. Depending on the time and place, patrolling would feel as if we were the only ones here in existence. It can be so quiet and isolated it keeps you thinking \"what the fuck, I better have my eye\'s peeled and wide open\". The thought of being attacked/ambushed is not a good feeling at all. Quick speedy for fun. I might add more details in the future. PS CS3. Intous3/Cintiq.
My pet and I
I don\'t know what to say of this, other than I was really bored one day that I just sat down and painted something out of random. Hope you guys like. Click for full view. All the details will pop out/ PS CS3. Cintiq.It’s finally here! ^_^ Took me a while to have it all done but better late than never. Feel free to look around especially the gallery section and links. I don’t have a lot in my gallery which I do apologize but I am in the beginning of my digital painting career and will eventually build up on my gallery from time to time. I also have some nifty websites on the external section, might wanna check that out too 
I’ll keep updating with more links when ever I find something cool, especially art related.
I was planning on making an art community for Brushluvr.com before making it only for my artworks. I realized that I would have needed to do lots of exposure to get this art community idea out there. After some heavy thoughts, it just wouldn’t work out but I still have this in mind and will try to have this possibly set in stone once I feel that it’ll work out. So for right now, it’ll just be my blogging/art website until further notice.

Lets settle this
More Speedpaint practice. My art block isn\'t helping much but it seems like i\'m starting to want to paint a lot more now a days. I felt like creating a landscape this time around. It seemed empty without the mechs so I had to add them. Hope you guys like. PS CS3. Cintiq. Intous3.
Day Soldier
I started this painting Black and white (I don\'t know why either). Been a while though.... I am not too sure about the helmet, now that I realize, it reminds me of the predator mixed in with a storm trooper. Go figure. This took about 2-3 hours on and off within a few days. TBH, I really don\'t know how long it took. PS CS3.
Urban Attack
I\'ve been itching to upload this speedy a few days ago :/ Not having internet is really depressing. This is an old painting I did a few years ago, however, I painted over the original which was yucky. This was my first Fan Art piece for a HL2 mod I was working on long ago (which has been ceased from development a few years ago). I am not sure if this mod will ever pick up again in the future. I know that there has been some underground development with a new game design by some of the past dev team. All I can say is, it\'s unconcious waiting to breath again. PS CS3.
Mecha Brigade
Felt like the original painting of this needed an over haul. I deleted the old version since this one is 100 times better. Enjoy this revised version :) Oh and yes, I have a sweet tooth for small feet and legs. Hate me. PS CS3.
Path of History
Another speedy of some path with ancient Technology. I nearly teared my head out with so many phases on this! It turned out to be some sort of volcano scene with lava.... then a forest... a completely new concept of a guy to the left... and finally to this. I definitely need to work more on my landscapes though. PS CS3. Cintiq.
Invasion
I Felt like doing a squad \"based\" speed painting again :) This was good practice for lighting. I went through a few phases when I started, color and lighting wise until I liked it. ps cs3. cintiq.
Elite Soldier
The idea of this is one of my experiences over in iraq. Usually when we have missions, especially searching house to house, we always have to pull security around the perimeter to make sure we have our behinds secured. There was this one mission, sunset was coming up and we were already searching a house, I was ordered to stay in a position and remember the mood to be just like in the painting. Only with a lot more light rays hitting the wall. Can\'t say how many hours I spent on this but just the soldier himself took a while to paint including the weapon. I used ref for the uniform and the m249 (SAW gun) which I made slightly different to go along the lines of a newer futuristic version of it.... somewhat. The SAW gun was a pain in the ass but I\'ve gotten most of all the details there! Even green strings for the tied down mods :P (only us soldiers/veterans of this recent war will understand that). Tried to go for realistic lighting here, not sure if I pulled it off right but looks good enough to me :) Background Texture was used from cgtextures.com. I decided to use and modify a bg texture since I wanted to capture more realism. For the mask design, I was pretty much inspired by the master chief himself :) By the way, I flipped the image during the time I was near final so the ammo feed of the Weapon is on the wrong side if you want to be accurate. I figured the dark to the left suited the image better. PS CS3. CINTIQ. Ref used.
Untitled Dream
I sat this one morning with my cintiq and thought.... out of boredom... maybe I should do a self portrait for once... I then started and it just wasn\'t looking right. I couldn\'t get the colors right nor get my eyes the way they should be and so after a few minutes staring at the painting, I then decided to go all out crazy. I didn\'t care for lighting nor how it looked but after a while, I figured why not try to paint this one dream I had of a guy in red with a weird hat!? Well I don\'t remember exactly how this guy in red looked like since it\'s been a while I had this dream but I tried my best painting him with this fuzzy vision I had of him. I added the king of hearts to the right for no reason... thought it suited the character more.... and also fill in the horrible brush strokes and color to that area. Well I had fun painting this :) PS CS3 Cintiq.
Mechanized Vehicle
This started out as a very quick speedy of something random again. I then went ahead and added more and more details and this is how it turned out. This could be Iraq in the near future, lets say 2060, and we are still there! It\'ll never end, seriously. PS CS3.
